Foods that help you sleep better  - Sleep is the best rest and sleep quality is the key to be able to think clearly and feel relaxed. Sleep deprived can cause fatigue and interfere with physical health. Minimum adult sleep requirement of at least about 6 to 7 hours per day.

You want to have a quality and quiet sleep ? Here are 6 foods that make you sleep better and avoid insomnia. But, consume these foods 1 - 2 hours before you sleep, because by taking it exactly as you want to sleep will make you more awake because of increased blood flow to the digestive system.


Eat Well for Better Sleep


Warm milk. Its content of tryptophan helps you sleep calm and relaxed. Milk also contains calcium which helps the brain regulate the manufacture of the hormone melatonin in the body that regulates your sleep cycle each day.

Cheese. Cheese contains tryptophan, an amino acid to be effective to make you sleep well after you take it before bed. Because once consumed, the amino acid tryptophan is converted the body into two types of hormones that make you relaxed, serototin and melatonin.

Oatmeal. Besides consumed as breakfast, carbohydrates in oatmeal also help the body release serototin. It good to  consume before bed. Serototin is a kind of hormone that makes us feel comfortable, lowering stress and make the mind calm and relaxed.

Water spinach. In addition to the savory taste, water spinach has a high nutritional content. In addition to vitamins A, B1, and C, also contains protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, carotene, hentriakontan, sitosterol. If you are like this vegetable, you must have experienced a tremendous feeling sleepy, it is caused by the high iron substance. Water spinach also contains chemical components which are sedative (tranquilizer). These components can make the mind of people who eat them to be quiet, making it potentially easier to drowsiness. But you should not consume too much spinach, it difficult to digest and you will be vulnerable to uric acid.

Peanut Butter. Eat peanut butter with 2 slices whole wheat bread to get a good night's sleep. Just like oatmeal, peanuts are the source of niacin, nutrients that can help release serotonin in the body.

Grape. Grape is one - the only fruit that contains the hormone melatonin, a hormone that helps your body shape and sleep-wake cycle in nature. Thus, sleep is a quality every day.
